Blossoming

The heart of the earth trembled, the mountain split and a slab of rock fell upon the mouth of the spring; the flow was cut off. The flow was cut off and scattered drops were drawn into the hidden layer of soil, into the depths. On a slope, across the span of a history, something hidden sprouted. The hidden thing grappled again with the surface's dominion; the small spring blossomed in the breast of the earth, blossoming, it flowed; the heart of the earth trembled...
