They threw a ring like a collar around my neck! They tied a cord like a chain to the collar and put its end in the hand of a beast in place of my God! And they dragged me - in the name of a loving bond – over the stony ground of the guardianship to the point of melting of vanishing. Truly! No blade could sever that bond more decisively than this.
